Jaguar is a 4yo Lab X. She currently lives with her foster moms, two canine foster siblings and two cats.

Jaguar is a young dog with energy to spare -- she is still getting used to her 'house dog' lifestyle! She's a smart girl who is full of beans and needs a lot of supervision and instruction to make sure she knows how to make the right decisions. She is working on her crate training and has had a couple of accidents in the house when she was left to wander on her own accord; her foster parents have learned that a close-by Jaguar is a better Jaguar! She is a bit of a velcro dog who will need to improve on her independence.

Jaguar lives with two cats and pays almost no attention to them, despite being pretty interested in squirrels! She gets along with her canine foster siblings too and loves to run and play with them. She can get pretty keyed up by other dogs and tends to turn off her listening eats a bit when they're around; she might even prefer playtime with just her humans and her favourite tennis ball!

Jaguar does walk fairly well on leash -- her biggest area of improvement here is her tendency to zig-zag in front of you. Her foster parents are working on straight-line, loose-leash walking to help her with this skill. They are also working on commands like 'place' to help her learn how to be calm no matter her surroundings. Jaguar is also perfecting the art of 'four on the floor' when greeting people. Jaguar will need a family dedicated to her progress and willing to put in the work to help her become the best dog ever!

Here is what Jaguar's foster mom has to say about her:

"Jaguar is a dog that will need someone dedicated to consistent training to make her into a good house dog. It's a joy to watch her run around and play fetch and show us her speed -- she has the stamina and energy to do things like agility with a lot of zest, for those sporty adopters out there!"

Adoption Fee: $400

Vetting: Jaguar is fully vetted and on seasonal heartworm preventative. She has no known health concerns.

Jaguar is being fostered in Waterloo, ON.
