Paris

Pending

Sex: Female

Birthdate: April, 3 2023

Breed: Lab/Shepherd/Husky Mix

Paris was born in rescue to Mama Florence. She was born on April 3rd, 2023, and is being fostered with 4 canine foster siblings, a cat, and a dog-savvy child!

The Euro-Cities litter has been raised with Puppy Culture development program, has been assessed with the Volhard Aptitude test, and are currently working through training with Training Dogs Online's marker training. They are all crate trained, working on their house training, and learning basic commands and leash work.

Paris is crate trained and working on her housetraining. Although she hasn't had any accidents in a while, she may have an adjustment period in a new home while she learns the ropes and expectations.

Paris is fun loving and happy go lucky at home, but can be nervous of strange people and dogs. She prefers her space and the opportunity to go up to them, rather than attention being forced onto her. Once she gets the opportunity to get used to them on her own terms, she warms up quickly.

Paris lives with 4 adult dogs and loves to play with them. She is nervous of other dogs out in public, and would do best with slow introductions and an adopter who can advocate for her space. Paris' first instinct is to bark and hide from other dogs. With her foster siblings, Paris is happy go lucky and loves to play with them, and play tug-of-war. She also lives with a cat sibling, but is afraid of the cat.

Paris absolutely loves food and training, and would benefit from an adopter who participates in training regularly to build her confidence. She is looking for a home who can advocate for her, and possibly and older confident and calm dog to set a good example for her and help her build her confidence.

Here is what Paris' foster mom has to say about her:

"Paris is a beautiful, young pup! She would be great for a single person or family. She has some confidence building to continue to work on, but she is wonderful and confident around her familiar areas and people. She would love to continue to have her own space in a crate. She sleeps and settles well, she is motivated by food to go to crate. She eats her meals in her crate too. Paris is affectionate and eager to please you. She likes to travel in a vehicle and ready for some new adventures. She is a wonderful little pup."

Adoption Fee: $ 750

Mandatory Training: All Taffy's Legacy dogs requires a home that can commit to their training with a professional trainer to set dogs up for success. We have partnered with Training Dogs Online to give Taffy's Legacy adopters 50% off to their lifetime program, however we can also recommend other great local or online programs. Adoptions will not be finalized till we have proof of signing up with a training program that we approve of.

Vetting: Paris had her first and second set of vaccines. Paris is booked for her final puppy vaccines and her spay on July 31st. Paris was dewormed at 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 weeks old.
