Sex: M

Birthdate: Oct, 20, 2022

Weight: up to 60lbs full grown

Syd  (M) is a 5 month old  Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog. He is currently living in Delhi, Ontario. He is a medium to high energy pup who needs someone committed to training to help shape him into the best version of himself as he grows up! He is a young puppy, so depending on how committed his owner is he could be a model doggy citizen, or a mischievous ball of energy!

First impressions:

- Good with dogs (will pull on leash to visit, so he will need training to learn to ignore them on walks)

- Unknown with cats (at this age he could be conditioned)

- Good with kids (minimal exposure, but could be easily conditioned)

- Crate trained

- Working on house training (doing well!)

- Food motivated, happily does training for all meals

- Knows break and has a decent understanding of his markers

- Knows crate, sit, place, his name and down

- Recall is a work in progress as is learning not to pull on leash

- Happy go lucky and curious personality, confident and outgoing in most situations

Adoption Fee: $750

Mandatory Training: All Taffy's Legacy dogs requires a home that can commit to their training with a professional trainer to set dogs up for success. We have partnered with Training Dogs Online to give Taffy's Legacy adopters 50% off to their lifetime program, however we can also recommend other great local or online programs. Adoptions will not be finalized till we have proof of signing up with a training program that we approve of.

Vetting: Syd is fully vetted  He has no other known health concerns. Taffy's will complete his neuter or pay for his neuter to be done at 6 months old, if adopted before then.
