Titan is a 5yo Husky X. He currently lives with his foster moms.

Titan is house and crate trained. He does whine in his crate, especially when he's getting used to new changes, but he's a smart boy and learns to settle with consistent routines. Titan hasn't met any kids officially yet but with his gentle demeanour, he would likely do well with them. As a general reminder, it's important that (with every dog!!) the older humans always supervise dog-kid interactions appropriately!

Titan walks fairly well on-leash. He pulls sometimes but responds well to corrections, and settles down after the initial 'going for a walk' excitement wears off. He can be selective with the dogs he wants to befriend, but with slow introductions he does great! Squirrels and cats beware -- he'll try to catch you ;). He wouldn't be the best roommate to a cat-sibling, so we will have to say no feline friends for Titan!

Titan is a pretty laid back guy, even for a husky! He has his bursts of energy (especially when he sees small animals) and will occasionally bark at the door, but he appreciates the simple things like curling up at the foot of the couch and watching Netflix. He would benefit greatly from continued training to stimulate his mind and to continue perfecting the basics. Training is a great way to build a bond with a dog, and Titan is no exception! He needs to make sure he trusts you before he shares his high-value items (like bones) or lets you grab his paws, but that will come with the time and effort that goes into developing a bond.

Here's what Titan's foster mom has to say about him:

"Titan is a big, gentle giant! He is very calm and very great at meeting new people. When he's making new friends, he just sniffs and wags his tail. He is still learning to enjoy his crate and sometimes tries to make an escape, but is able to spend a workday in there and sleeps in his crate overnight! He loves bones, so we leave one with him in his crate to help him relax. Overall, he is a loving dog who just needs someone to be strict and reinforce the rules to make sure he is his best self."

Adoption Fee: $400

Vetting: Titan is fully vetted and on seasonal heartworm preventative. He has no known health concerns.
