During the intake hold, every dog is assessed by experienced volunteers. This is at least 2 weeks of structure and close observation. Once the assessment is complete, and the dog is ready, they will move onto a foster home!
Our foster volunteers give their time and homes to dogs in care. They work closely with adoptables on leash, house and crate training; as well as managing behaviors like resource guarding or reactivity.
We have a 7 step, in depth adoption process so that we can ensure the perfect match every time. Our process includes an application, reference checks and a home visit. Once approved you can move on to meet and greets!
