Puppies (under 8 months) and dogs over 100lbs are $600. Puppies over 8 months and dogs under 100lbs are $500. Some of our dogs come with a mandatory training program, Training Dogs Online, and the training fee has been added to their adoption fee. We will reimburse that fee if you can provide proof of signing up with a different trainer if we approve of that trainer.

All dogs come with age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm & Lyme disease tested, microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered.

Puppies who have not received all of their medical care before leaving for their forever homes will be vetted at no cost to the new owner at one of our vets, or a specified reimbursement will be provided.

AVAILABLE or ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS = We are currently accepting applications.
PENDING or NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS = We have received one or more application(s) and are currently processing them, or this dog is at the meet and greet stage with an approved adopter. New applications will not be considered at this time unless you are open to suggestions and being matched with another dog in our care for several months in the future.

ON HOLD (Medical, Behavioural or Intake) = Our new dogs are all placed on an initial holding period for a minimum of two weeks. Some dogs may not be brand new to TLC, but for medical, behavioural or other reasons are not available for meet and greets. You may email to inquire about and submit applications for these dogs after reading their profile and if they are an appropriate fit, we will notify you when they are off 'hold.'

We will accept applications and emails from approved adopters, however, we do not know enough about them to make any matches at this time. Thank you in advance for your patience as we get to know their personalities in order to find the best matches for our dogs and adopters, alike!

All new dogs who come into care go on a mandatory two-week hold so we can assess them medically and observe their temperament/behaviours.
If a dog is marked as 'Unknown' with cats, kids or dogs, this just means they have not had a chance to meet any yet. Should you be interested in one of these dogs, we would be sure to facilitate these interactions in a safe environment before proceeding with a meet & greet.
